Microneedling is the quiet art of inviting your skin to renew itself. Through hundreds of precise micro-channels, this treatment gently triggers your body’s own collagen and elastin production, refining texture, softening scars, and fading fine lines from within. At Skin 101, every session can be layered with advanced boosters like HA, PDRN, or Rejuran, for amplified, customized results that feel naturally your own.
“Your skin already knows how to renew itself. Sometimes it just needs a gentle invitation.”

Microneedling works by creating tiny, controlled micro-injuries in the skin, prompting your body to respond with its natural healing process. As the skin repairs itself, it produces new collagen and elastin from the deepest layers up. This rebuilding process refines texture, fades scars, smooths fine lines, and restores firmness over the weeks following each treatment.
Microneedling may help improve the appearance of acne scars, fine lines, enlarged pores, uneven texture, dullness, mild skin laxity, and overall skin tone. It is a popular option for patients who want natural-looking skin improvement without a more aggressive resurfacing treatment.
Yes, microneedling is commonly used to improve the appearance of acne scars, especially textural scarring. By supporting collagen production, microneedling may help soften the look of indented scars and create a smoother skin surface over a series of treatments.
Skin 101 offers four advanced boosters that can be layered into your microneedling treatment: HA Serum for deep hydration, PDRN Tone-Up Booster for brightening and pigmentation, Rejuran Healing Essence for cellular renewal and elasticity, and PDGF growth factors for advanced regeneration. Your provider will recommend the right booster, or combination, based on your skin and goals.
Yes. Microneedling is safe for nearly all skin types and tones, which is one of its advantages over many laser treatments. Because it uses mechanical stimulation rather than light or heat, the risk of pigmentation issues is minimal. It is not recommended during active acne breakouts, active skin infections, pregnancy, or for clients on isotretinoin (Accutane) within the past six months.
Microneedling has minimal downtime. Most clients experience mild redness or slight pinkness for 24 to 48 hours, similar to a light flush after exercise. Many return to work or daily activities the same day. Heavy makeup, intense exercise, saunas, and direct sun should be avoided for the first 24 to 48 hours to support smooth, even healing.
Microneedling is commonly performed on the face, neck, chest, and décolletage. It may also be used on other areas of the body where texture concerns, scars, or stretch marks are present, depending on your provider’s recommendation.
